11 Dec 2007 - Your Chance to question the Route Manager!

FDVL hold 'Meet the Manager' sessions with the East Midlands Trains Route Manager responsible for the Derby-Matlock service several times a year. The latest meeting at the Brunswick Inn, Derby on 11th December was well attended by 15 members who put their questions to Paul Burnage from East Midlands Trains.

A range of wide topics were discussed including current fleet performance, the standard of customer information systems on the branch, plans to improve the reliability of Sunday services, problems with ticketing on trains, Derby station rebuilding work to commence in 2008, connections of branch trains at Derby, the new December 2008 timetable and rolling stock capacity.

The next Meet the Manager session will be held on Tuesday 8th April 2008, so get ready with those questions!
